JUNIOR SCIENTIST PROGRAMME

In our “Junior Scientist” programme, children will be exposed to the different aspects of a turtle conservation project, from caring for the terrapins, to collecting data, to ensuring they’re healthy and well-fed.

This programme is designed as an optional (chargeable) activity, and is especially beneficial for children who have a keen interest in animal/wildlife, science, and conservation.

Note: Minimum number of participants in the “Junior Scientist” programme is 20 pax.

Children (aged 5 and above):
RM 30 per pax

Adults (teachers/parents):
RM 20 per pax

All the necessary materials will be provided, and each child will receive a “Junior Scientist” booklet and a 3D turtle paper mache as a souvenir.

If you’re keen for your kindergarten or primary school students to participate in our “Junior Scientist” programme, please send us an email (pelf@turtleconservationsociety.org.my), with the following information:

  • Name of kindergarten/ primary school and location
  • Number of students and adults
  • Age range of the students
  • Preferred dates
