Juara Turtle Project, Tioman Island
The project is located in Kampung Juara, on the eastern coast of Tioman Island, Malaysia. It is operated and maintained by a small group of individuals with the help of volunteers.

Perhentian Marine Turtle Volunteer Program
Originally founded by Way Out Experiences (WOX) in 2003, the program is based at Bubbles Dive Resort in Perhentian Besar Island. Beginning 2009, the volunteer program has been managed solely by Ecoteer.

Redang Island Marine Turtle Volunteer Program
Founded by E.H. Chan and H.C. Liew in 1993 under Sea Turtle Research Unit (SEATRU) under Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. It is the oldest and longest running marine turtle volunteer programme in Malaysia. The program was headed by Chan until her retirement from the university in May 2009.
