Welcome to Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia

Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia (or TCS in short) is a newly established non-profit and non-governmental organization dedicated to turtle conservation. It is co-founded by Tan Sri Salleh Mohd. Nor, Dr. Chan Eng Heng, Chen Pelf Nyok, Lim Puay Aun and Wee Seng Whatt.

The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.

If you’re new to us, please check out our former site, Turtle Conservation Centre, for more information about the turtle research, conservation, public outreach and educational programs that we carry out.

In the next few weeks or so, we will:

  1. launch the new Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia website;
  2. launch a Member Recruitment Drive (please be assured that membership fees are SUPER affordable); and
  3. call for our inaugural Annual General Meeting.

Meanwhile, check out Turtle Conservation Society on Facebook!

If you would like to join or support us in saving more turtles, please watch this space for more information! :D
