The Turtle Conservation Workshop by the beach aimed at fostering awareness on protecting turtles through interactive and fun-filled learning activities. The children were briefed on the characteristics of different turtle species and the dangers facing them, causing their extinction. The children then participated in group dynamic activities incorporating threats-to-turtles story narration and games.

BAGS containing turtle eggs, resembling oversized ping-pong balls, were displayed openly by hawkers at the Pasar Payang market, in Kuala Terengganu. The ones caked with sand were local eggs, while the cleaner ones were apparently from Sabah, or so they say.

A two-day exhibition titled “Save Our Wildlife Exhibition KL ‘13” was held at Berjaya Times Square recently and TCS was invited as one of the exhibitors.

Come March 9th, 272 River Terrapins hatched in Kg. Tok Kapor, Terengganu will be released into the Kemaman river.
