Guided Tours

Our tours are guided by interns and volunteers who are rigorously trained to ensure that you get the most out of the trips. You have questions about turtles, fireflies and mangroves? Bring ’em on!

Community Work

Participants who sign up for the 3D2N Nature Discovery Trip will also experience multiple hands-on activities designed to expose them to some “back end” elements of a conservation project.

River Cruise

Our river cruises are extremely educational. Who would have thought that a somewhat small river tucked between mangroves would be home to many wildlife including snakes, bats, otters, monitor lizards and crabs? There are probably more that we haven’t discovered!

Mangrove Planting

Our programmes are also designed to ensure the participants get to contribute to Mother Nature as well. If your new year’s resolution is to plant a tree, come join us!

OUR NATURE TRIPS WILL RESUME IN MARCH 2022. PLEASE STAY TUNED!

If you would like to join our Nature Discovery Trip, please register your interest by filling up the following form. We will send you an email shortly to confirm the availability of your preferred date.

Please provide 2-3 alternative dates.
Any vegetarians in your group? Allergies to any specific food items?

1. I have made a booking, when should I pay up?
To secure your seats, please make payment at least two weeks before your trip. This will allow us sufficient time to book seats for the fireflies tour as well as to order refreshments, and secure a table for dinner.

2. I want to be respectful to the local villagers, how should I dress? What should I pack for the trip?
It is perfectly fine to wear a T-shirt and shorts or three-quarter pants or a skirt. Wear a cap or a hat. You may want to bring your sunblock. Sandals are great. Bring your own water bottle. Bring your own medications and insect repellent if you wish, but you will not be allowed to use it during the fireflies watching trip.

3. My parents are in their 70s and I have a three-year-old toddler. Is it safe for them to join the trip?
If your parents are able to get into the boat unassisted, they should be fine. You are expected to wear your baby, and toddlers are to be held near their parents during the boat ride.

4. I have some specific questions about the programme.
Sure! We are happy to answer any questions you may have. Email us and we will get back to you shortly.

WHAT OTHERS SAY

Pelf, you set the standard for educational tours, both informative and fun. Engaging too. Keep it up! Wish you every success!
- Adeno Ong, 2016

We highly recommend the Turtle Discovery Trip. We loved it! Thanks to Dr. Chen and her intern Tyng Tyng, their explanations were clear and in detail, we learned to protect this critically endangered species better.
Now my cheeky daughter could explain to me the differences between sea and freshwater turtles :)
Once again, thanks to TCS!
- Jocelyn Peixing, 2018

THANK YOU to Pelf and the team from the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia!
The presentations that you shared with the Year 6 students were insightful and pitched perfectly. They were engaging and interactive. You were able to answer their questions and linked their recent experiences to your talk perfectly!
“Nature Club” also found your guidance invaluable – we have now changed the way we feed and care for our terrapins and tortoises!
We would love to have you back again! Thank you!
- Sharon Wellington, Vice Principal, The Alice Smith School, 2017

It’s such a fantabulous trip! Your programme is amazing! Thank you for going above and beyond to relate back to the kids’ lesson in Science class. Your hospitality to us is nothing short of amazing. We will be back for sure!
- Ashley, 2018

A big thank you from the both of us! We are huge reptile fans but this experience has brought us up-close and personal with turtles and terrapins and we will be back! Keep on doing that amazing work you do!
