The “Turtle of Malaysia (Colouring Book)” is simple yet very informative about the 18 species of turtles and tortoises that are local natives of Malaysia. I don’t think there is anything quite like it readily available in the market that is available, especially one that is friendly to kids and parents. Even as a parent reading, I gain new knowledge and help share it with my child. Highly recommended, and it makes a great gift too.

My 5 years old son was very excited when he received this book.
Information about turtles, terrapins and tortoises in this book is straightforward to explain to children.
My son asked a lot about the ecology of each native species in this book.
This book also improves my child’s motor skills by colouring.
It is good to nurture an appreciation of this Chelonia order at an early age as it is fundamental to its conservation. Congratulations to the author and illustrator of this book. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Thank you, TCS for all that you do for turtle conservation!

Our family learn so much about tortoises and turtles species in Malaysia! My daughter said it would be wonderful if the pictures of tortoises and turtles in the Who Am I boxes is colored so that she could see the differences between all the species. We really enjoyed the book and all the information given. We look forward for more books from your team.

    All the best TCS!

The “Turtle of Malaysia” book is one of the rarest books that manage to find the delicate balance of simple yet informative and fun for kids and parents. The first person narrative of each of the 18 species provides an excellent way to learn by telling a story, even as bedtime story. It also has colouring section for each of the species with different backgrounds which allow my child to express his creativity while learning about the different species of turtles. This is a highly recommended book for children, and as a great gift too!

I’m really glad a book about turtles of Malaysia was created as it really highlights how important it is to look after these unique animals. Kids will really enjoy this book, I think, as it’s just so lovely to look at and some of the facts you can learn about the species diversity and their life really make you want to know more about them.

I think this book is perfect for any children interested in animals or if anyone wants to raise awareness or get their kids interested. You just can’t help but love turtles when reading this and I believe that’s the point! The book has a back page with glossary for readers learn the general science terms and makes it a great learning book to use with kids both at home and in the classroom.

I’d definitely recommend parents to get this book for your next family reading time.
